The ATK Kevlar Core leashes are made so you don’t have to worry about a runaway ski if you choose to ski without ski brakes. They work on most if not all AT or telemark set ups and are a critical safety and retention device. They are constructed with a Kevlar core to be ultralight yet super strong. They extend up to 60 centimeters but have a spiral polyurethane sheath that otherwise prevents them from slopping around and getting caught on obstacles. A simple clipping system lets you hook and unhook from your boots to your skis at will. The leashes weigh 17 grams each and will break with an elongation force of around 154 pounds.
