The Black Crows Artis skis is a pure freeride influenced ski that has a bit of a split personality. It is strong and stable at speeds but is also smooth and supple at slower speeds. Wit that being said, it thrives in a wide variety of snow conditions and terrain, but at the end of the day, is more at home in softer snow and providing playful turns. This ski is torsionally stiff, so it can hold a great edge on hardpack, but longitudinally, its forgiving, so it does not beat you up if you are not skiing on your “A” game. The Artis is great ski for both on and off-piste pursuits and will appeal to a wide variety of advanced skiers. At 108-millimeters under the boot, there is plenty of waist width for your deep powder days or soft snow adventures, but this ski can still rail a turn on groomers. This makes it an ideal one-ski quiver for western skiers, and a great quiver ski for Eastern skiers when Mother Nature provides a fresh coating of the white stuff.
