The Fischer S-Bound 112 Crown/DualSkin XTRALIGHT is the widest offering in Fisher’s Nordic touring lineup.  With 78-millimters under the boot and a 112 tip width, this ski is designed to roam far off the beaten path to find fresh snow.  And with a full metal edge, the S-Bound is about the down too, when paired with a 3 -pin binding and tele boot, you can make nice turns down the fall line in gladded woods, open and flowy logging roads and for low angle meadow skipping.  The S-Bound 112 has a moderate Nordic camber that offers efficient travel on the flat, combined with a more progressive rockered tip that helps turn initiation and makes downhill skiing easier and less tiring. With a pattern fish-scale base, you can climb mild uphills very quickly and efficiently without the use of skins.  And when the going gets steep, skins can easily be attached to the Super Skin Tip Notch for more ambitious uphill routes. You can ski the S-Bound with NNN-BC boots and bindings as well, but you will get better control and stability for downhill turns with 75-millimeter telemark gear.  For skiers looking for effortless ups and downs away from the crowds and into the backcountry, the Fischer S-Bound 112 Crown/DualSkin XTRALIGHT skis are the ideal tool for the job.
