The K2 Mindbender 99 Ti is a ski that is worth discussing as a potential one ski quiver for many skiers, east or west of the Mendoza line. At 99 millimeters underfoot, this is the ideal waist width for true all mountain skiing in a wide variety of conditions and terrain. Built with a blend of fir and aspen wood, K2 adds their titanal Y-beam to the mix, and this partial metal laminate really brings the strength and grip to the forebody and the underfoot regions of the ski. With full-metal to the edges up front and under the binding, these skis are very strong, stable, and very smooth, particularly at speeds. With no real speed limit in sight, these skis do a great job carving up the groomers as they do busting crud. For true all mountain versality for front side advanced and expert skiers, the K2 Mindbender 99 Ti is a real contender.
