Explore deep in the backcountry, meandering logging roads, low angle meadow skipping or even a foray at the local cross-country center, these skis are great for going long distances due to their light weight (1600 grams) but still have enough beef due to their construction and metal edge to make aggressive turns down the fall line.  Built with an LCD core, which is Rossignol’s exclusive low-density core construction that features a lightweight wood core with air channels for lightweight strength and energy. Equipped with a Positrack base, you can climb and glide with equal aplomb. This type of base really comes in handy when long, flat, or rolling terrain approaches come into play.
