Its snowing!

We picked up a dense 3” of snow so far and snow is expected to continue in the upper elevations through tomorrow morning.  All said and done we could see upwards of a foot of snow in total from this storm as upslope snow is expected at higher elevations later today and through tomorrow morning.  The snow is definitely on the heavier side, its dense and has some body to it but its consistent.  Should stick and bond really well on the steeps and provide us with a nice surface to ski on.  Bring an extra jacket and gloves as you will get wet if you plan on staying out for a while today.  Conditions should get better and better as the day progresses with snow totals adding up but winds are also forecasted to ramp up.  Expect drifting to occur with some scouring happening in spots that are susceptible to wind,  but wind loading will also happen and blow in some very deep pockets too.  Get out there and enjoy!
