The first half of March came in in like a lamb but the second half has come out like a lion the past week! March madness is in full effect. 

11 inches in the past 48 hours, 37” inches this past week.  The resort, side country and our beloved backcountry are all firing on all cylinders right now.

And did we forget to mentioned that the last two days have been bluebird!  Feels like we are out west right now. Come get it while the going is good.

For backcountry travel, you still need to be careful down low as there is still a lot of open water and blowout from streams and rivers.  Th ground has never really frozen this year, due the roller coaster like temperature swings we have been receiving all season.  You may have to get creative at times with your crossings.

Up high there is a lot of snow right now and it is staying cold, so the powder is still skiing magically right now.  The next few days will be days to really tray and alter your plans to get up and ski.  With peak conditions and the biggest base, we have all year, its time to get after it.  Another big warm is on its way later this week.
