Its Hump Day and heading into Memorial Day weekend we have a great forecast on tap with warm temperatures and ideal conditions for getting outside and recreating.   Whether it’s on two wheels or two feet, Vermont is firing on all summer cylinders right now with everything budding and flowering, with multiple shades of green engulfing the forests and landscapes that surround us.  The dirt, roots and rock are prime right now for bikes and hikes, as well as for rock climbing and bouldering.   If you choose to adventure in the woods, the bugs are also coming out, so make sure you are prepared for that, particularly when you stop moving as you can become swarmed and bitten quickly.  With today’s forecasted rain this afternoon, they will be out in full force for sure. Mosquito and tick repellant is always a good idea to apply before you head out on your next adventure.  The summer is finally here!  We look forward to seeing you out there in whatever activity you choose for human powered enjoyment.
