The Dynafit Speed Radical Binding is a tried and true binding that really started it all for skiers who want to earn their turns.  Often imitated but never really replicated by other backcountry binding manufactures, its’ been the go-to binding for backcountry skiers for years who want to shave ounces for speedy ascents, but don't want to give up reliability when it comes time to drop in on their coveted run.  Its light, durable and very useful friendly.   Step-in side towers make entry into the toe piece easy. At the same time, it increases lateral stability on the descent. The Speed Radical has three walk modes. In addition to a flat position, it has two riser heights you can quickly and easily adjust with your pole. The binding also offers 25-millimeters  of flex in its length adjustment and thus enables it to fit various sole lengths. The Speed Radical’s release value can be fully adjusted both laterally and vertically from DIN 4 to 10. For a bit more safety on ice or crust, ski crampons can also be attached and are sold separately  . The binding has no ski brake (brakes can also be purchased separately)  and comes standard with a safety leash.
