Product description

For skiers who want uphill efficiency without giving up downhill power, the Atomic Backland XTD Carbon 120 delivers the best of both worlds. With a stiff 120 flex and a medium 100 mm last, this boot is built to charge on the descent while remaining light, mobile, and natural when touring. Prolite construction trims weight by reinforcing only where strength is needed, while the carbon-loaded shell and cuff provide reliable stability for wider touring skis.

On the skin track, a 74° range of motion and frictionless pivots keep every step smooth and efficient. On the descent, the Free/Lock 4.5 ski/walk mechanism locks in for powerful response with adjustable forward lean. The Hybrid Overlap design makes stepping in easier while improving foot wrapping, and the fully heat-moldable Memory Fit shell and 3D Platinum Tour liner create a precision fit tailored to your foot. Durable, full-rubber soles ensure compatibility with Shift, MN, MNC, and pin bindings, making this boot one of the most versatile in the touring world.
