At its core is DownWool® by Grüezi Bag®, an innovative blend of 70% premium down and 30% alpine wool. This hybrid mix solves down’s biggest weakness—moisture.

The wool fibers actively absorb humidity from sweat or snowfall, allowing the down to retain up to 30% more loft and insulating power even when damp. The result: more warmth, more stability, and a consistently comfortable microclimate during strenuous climbs and long, frigid days.

The exterior uses Pertex® Quantum Pro, a windproof, water-resistant fabric designed to perform in raw alpine conditions. With high abrasion resistance and dependable breathability, it shields you from icy gusts, swirling snow, and rugged terrain without sacrificing comfort.

Recycled wool padding under the arms and along the sides boosts warmth while preserving mobility—ideal for skinning, belaying, touring, or hauling gear.
